Divisions

Divisions in Accounter.co.za enable you to segment your business into different units or departments for better tracking and reporting. This feature is useful for businesses with multiple locations, departments, or product lines.

Creating Divisions

To create a new division:

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. Click on Divisions.
  3. Click New Division.
  4. Enter the division name and any additional details.

Using Divisions

Once created, divisions can be assigned to:

  • Sales and purchase transactions
  • Inventory items and locations
  • Fixed assets and employees
  • Bank accounts and other entities

Divisions help you generate segmented reports and maintain better control over different areas of your business.
