How the ChatGPT connection works

Connect your account
Select Accounter in ChatGPT, then sign in to Accounter and approve access to submit selected PDFs and retrieve your conversion results.

Choose a statement PDF
Attach an unlocked bank statement you are authorised to process and ask Accounter to convert it to CSV or Excel.

Download and review
Retrieve the completed export. Ask for the other format from the same conversion, then check the transactions before using them.

Verified free Accounter accounts receive 10 free pages each month, shared across the website and ChatGPT. Additional extraction access is purchased on the Accounter website. Requesting CSV and Excel from the same completed conversion uses no additional pages.
This integration supports unlocked bank statement PDFs up to 50 MiB. Invoices, receipts, credit card statements and payment instructions are outside its scope. Extraction can contain errors; review dates, descriptions and amounts before importing your file.
Before you send a statement
Your selected PDF and extracted transactions are financial information. Accounter stores saved statements on Google Cloud in the US and sends statement content to AI models through OpenRouter for extraction. Saved statements remain until you delete them. Disconnecting prevents future connection access; it does not delete your statement history.
Only send statements you are authorized to process. Redact unnecessary personal information and exclude payment card details, government identifiers, health records and passwords.
