How do you merge PDF files?

Drop the PDFs you want to combine, put them in the order you need using the arrows or the sort-by-name button, then click merge. The combined file downloads straight from your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so the tool works the same whether the documents are invoices, contracts, or client bank statements.

How do I combine 12 monthly bank statements into one PDF?

Drop all twelve statement PDFs at once, click Sort by name so they run January to December instead of the order your file picker gave them, then merge. South African banks name statement downloads consistently, so alphabetical order usually matches date order. You can then send the combined file to the bank statement converter to extract every transaction as CSV.

This is the usual shape of a year-end or VAT-period file: twelve separate downloads from FNB, Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank or Capitec that need to become one document before anything else can happen to them. Merging first also means the converter reads a single continuous statement, so the closing balance of one month lines up against the opening balance of the next and any gap is obvious.

Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs online?

With this tool, yes. The merge runs in JavaScript inside your own browser using the file you selected, so it is never uploaded and we never see it. That matters for client bank statements and payroll documents, where uploading to a third-party server may breach your POPIA obligations. Most online merge tools upload your file to their servers; this one does not.

The one exception is clearly marked. If you choose to extract transactions from the merged file, that step does upload the PDF, because the extraction runs our AI on it. Merging and splitting never do.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

You can merge up to 30 PDFs at once, with no page limit and no file size limit beyond what your device can hold in memory. There is no signup, no watermark, and no daily cap.
