Purpose of Capital subaccounts
Capital subaccounts allow grouping of transactions within capital accounts into clearer categories, such as:
- Drawings
- Funds contributed
- Share of profit
- Other customized sub-categories
Using Capital subaccounts
When you enter transactions in any capital control account:
- Select a capital account from the list provided in the Capital Accounts tab.
- Choose one of the available sub-accounts defined on the Capital subaccounts settings screen.
Viewing Capital subaccounts summary
You can review movements organized by capital accounts and their sub-accounts for any specific period:
- Go to the Reports tab
- Select the Capital Accounts Summary report
