Amortization Entries

Record the gradual decrease in value of intangible assets over time through amortization entries.

Overview

The Amortization Entries tab is specifically designed to record the gradual decrease in value of intangible assets over time—a process known as amortization. Within this tab, you can effectively document the diminution of these intangible asset values.

Note

Amortization is the systematic allocation of the cost of an intangible asset over its useful life, similar to depreciation for tangible assets.
